Privacy Policy
Effective July 26, 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how STRUT-OS LLC (“STRUT-OS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information through jewelersaudit.com, inquiry forms, secure intake, engagement administration, payment, and delivery of Jewelers Audit services.
For customer records supplied by a business client, the client generally determines why the records are processed and STRUT-OS processes them to provide the engagement. The applicable engagement agreement or data processing addendum supplements this policy.
2. Information we collect
Inquiry and business information: name, title, employer, email, phone, website, business size, current systems, concerns, and message content.
Engagement records: files and data a client chooses to submit, such as POS or CRM exports, spreadsheets, receipts, repair records, appraisals, notes, scans, photographs, and related metadata.
Transaction information: purchased service, amount, payment status, and processor identifiers. We do not receive complete payment-card numbers from Stripe.
Technical and security information: IP address, device and browser data, timestamps, request logs, authentication events, file metadata, and information needed to prevent abuse and diagnose service issues.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; evaluate, perform, and deliver engagements; reconcile and analyze client-provided records; authenticate access; process payments; maintain a persistent work queue and audit trail; secure and troubleshoot the service; comply with law; and protect the rights and safety of STRUT-OS, clients, and others.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use a client’s identifiable customer records for unrelated advertising.
4. Sources and authority
Information comes from website visitors, prospective clients, business clients, their authorized personnel, service providers, and systems used to operate the service. Clients are responsible for confirming that they may lawfully provide customer records and request the processing described in their engagement.
5. How information is shared
We may share information with vendors that support hosting, database and secure storage, email delivery, payment processing, security, analytics, professional services, and customer support, subject to appropriate contractual or confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, security, and safety; in connection with a financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets; or with the relevant person’s direction or consent.
6. Security and access
We use safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information, including private storage, server-side authorization, restricted administrative access, encrypted transport, security logging, and time-limited or revocable intake access where implemented.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Clients should submit customer records only through the designated secure intake and should not send sensitive record packs by ordinary email.
7. Retention and deletion
Inquiry information is kept as reasonably needed for follow-up, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations. Engagement records are kept for the period stated in the engagement or as reasonably needed to deliver, verify, and support the work, then deleted or de-identified subject to backups, legal holds, disputes, and required records.
Clients may request return or deletion of engagement records, subject to contractual, technical, and legal limitations. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove encrypted backup copies maintained for disaster recovery.
8. Choices and privacy requests
Depending on location and applicable law, individuals may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about processing. Because business clients control many submitted customer records, we may direct a request to the relevant client.
To make a request, email info@jewelersaudit.com. We may verify identity and authority before acting. Authorized-agent requests must include sufficient proof of authority.
9. Cookies and third-party services
The site may use essential cookies or similar technologies for security, authentication, preferences, and reliable operation. Payment and other linked third-party services operate under their own privacy notices.
10. Children and international use
Jewelers Audit is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the website. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, law, or processing. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to info@jewelersaudit.com.
This public policy is an operational draft and should be reviewed by privacy counsel against STRUT-OS LLC’s actual vendors, retention schedule, client agreements, and applicable jurisdictions.
